ANNOUNCEMENT--CROSS COUNTRY CHANGE
The District Cross Country Meet to be held at the Voice of America Park on Saturday, October 20, 2012, has been moved to Mason (Pinehill Corwin-Nixon Park, Corwin Nixon Road). The Southwest District Board members toured the improvements made at Voice of America Park and feel that the new course needs a year to mature. The board does want to express their satisfaction to the personnel at VOA for the many efforts in remodeling the course and doing whatever is necessary to make the course a premiere venue. If all goes well, the meet will move back to VOA in 2013. Mr. Scott Stemple and his staff will manage the meet this year.
