The boys’ races will consist of fifteen (15) teams in one and fourteen (14) teams in the other; the girls’ races will be fourteen (14) teams in each race. Coaches will be sent voting materials and directions and all votes must be received by the meet manager on Friday, 12:00 p.m., October 8, 2010. The tournament placement meeting will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2010, 2:00 p.m. The manager will distribute information to each coach at check-in. Schools will place themselves in the race of their choice based on seed. Each race will qualify four (4) teams and the first sixteen (16) runners will qualify for the Regional Race in Troy. There will be a district at both West Chester and Dayton. BOYS: The top four team finishers and sixteen individual in each race will advance to the regionals. GIRLS: The top two teams and eight individuals from the Voice of America race will qualify for regional competition while the top six teams and twenty-four individuals from the MVCTC race will move on to regional competition.
